Colour resemblance- Made for glazing, the pigment used in this color is naturally transparent; even brushed on straight from the tube, it will be influenced by any underlying color.
Ideally used for- Mix it with medium to produce thin, glowing glazes that add depth and warmth to all kinds of subjects. Mixed with white, it becomes a more opaque pumpkin orange.
